Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday laid the foundation stone for the new headquarters building of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) and waste-to-energy (WTE) plant in Gurugram.
This program was organized at Vyapar Sadan located on Mehrauli Road, Gurugram on Friday.
After the event, Khattar said that it is a very important day for both for Gurugram and Faridabad districts. Waste-to-energy plants are being set up for the proper disposal of waste for both major districts.
“We are moving towards waste-to-wealth with new technology and Haryana’s first plant to generate electricity from waste is operational in Sonepat and this plant to be set up in Gurugram will generate 6 lakh units per day and waste will be disposed of properly.
