The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India Chang Jae-bok, on his maiden visit to Chandigarh, paid a courtesy call to the Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Banwarilal Purohit on Wednesday and evinced interest in the promotion of cultural and educational exchange programmes.
Extending a warm welcome to the delegation, Purohit advocated the need for stronger bonds between the two countries. He suggested enhanced people-to-people contact through cultural exchange programmes and assured as the Chairman of North Zone Cultural Center (NZCC) the facilitation of cultural troupes from the five Northern States of India.
