NEW DELHI: Citing the five-fold rise of the share price of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, BJP on Monday hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders, recalling their protests in 2019 in which they alleged that the PM Narendra Modi government had “destroyed” the state-owned defence public sector major.
Union minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said, Rahul Gandhi, a few years ago, had criticised HAL and in his usual way of trying to take potshots at the Modi government and using “lies” to distract and mislead people, he had said that HAL will go sick.
