Northeast India’s first Vande Bharat Express received a thrilling welcome as the enthusiastic crowd gathered at the railway stations to catch a glimpse of the semi-high speed train. The train has received overwhelming reception at the enroute stations with students, rail lovers and general public joining the festivities.
The people have embraced the northeast-bound Vande Bharat Express with a shower of blossoms and resounding rhythms at its five stoppages – Kamakhya Junction, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, New Alipurduar and New Cooch Behar railway station. The people in traditional dresses also danced to Bihu tunes.
