The 28.5km long metro project between HUDA city centre to cyber city in Gurugram has been included in PM Gati Shakti projects and is now at the advanced stage of final approval from the Union government, chief secretary Sanjeev Kaushal said.
Reviewing the performance of mass rapid transport in Gurugram and progress of ongoing metro projects in Haryana, Kaushal said three metro projects that chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced are at various stages of implementation.
The projects in question are metro link from Rezangla Chowk to the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi (via Dwarka Sector-21), metro link from southern peripheral road to Panchgaon via global city and Manesar, extension of the Bahadurgarh metro up to Asaudha to connect with the Haryana orbital rail network and Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) expressway.
