Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday laid the foundation for revamping the Gurgaon railway station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
The design of the building will showcase the local culture, heritage, and architecture. The redeveloped station will also enhance modern facilities for passengers by ensuring universal access to the railway station.
Addressing a program, Union Minister of State and Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjit Singh said in Haryana, work is underway on railway projects worth Rs 20,000 crore, with the state receiving Rs 2,750 crore for development of the railway infrastructure in the interim budget.
