BENGALURU: Wind power tariffs remained unchanged from the beginning of the year in the 745 MW of capacity awarded through auction by Gujarat’s state utility on Monday, several developers told ET. Tariffs in the wind auction conducted by the renewable energy ministry in February were in the range of Rs 2.82 to Rs 2.83 per unit.
The latest auction conducted by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) saw Enerfra win 40 MW of capacity at Rs 2.80 per unit, and Powerica and Vena win 50 MW and 100 MW capacities, respectively, at Rs 2.81 per unit. France’s EDF, Renew Power, Adani and Inox Wind were the other winners whose tariffs were in the Rs 2.87-2.95 per unit range.
