Green Hydrogen is emerging as a popular choice for enabling greener operations in industries such as iron ore and steel, fertilizers, refining, methanol, and maritime shipping. Energy Independence could be a key outcome from Green Hydrogen adoption – with Green Hydrogen substituting fossil fuel imports of Rs 1 lakh crore by 2030. There have been significant investments to increase renewable energy capacity and incentivisation for the Green Hydrogen ecosystem.
