HYDERABAD: Refuting corruption allegations in long lease of Nehru Outer Ring Road (ORR) under toll operate and transfer (TOT) basis, municipal and IT minister KT Rama Rao has said he will take political ‘sanyas’ if the allegations are proved.
He dared Telangana Congress president A Revanth Reddy to prove them in court, saying the allegations on ORR 30-year lease were totally false and made with ill-intentions. The minister said both HMDA and the company, which secured the contract, IRB, also filed defamation suits against the Congress leader and would pursue them till their logical end.
