NEW DELHI: On Tuesday, BJP leaders, including Union ministers, praised the government’s move to reduce cooking gas prices by Rs 200 per cylinder. They considered it a generous gesture from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, timed perfectly for both the occasions of Onam and Raksha Bandhan. Prime Minister Modi expressed that the Raksha Bandhan festival symbolizes enhancing joy within families, and he believes that this price reduction will contribute to greater convenience for sisters and mothers, making their lives easier. He conveyed this sentiment in a Hindi post on ‘X’.
