MUMBAI: The Western Railway (WR) will schedule blocks, during which certain train services will be suspended, for 20 days from November 27 to allow for launch of a girder of the under-construction Gokhale bridge that connects SV Road and Western Express Highway at Andheri. Details of the affected train services will be released later.
The WR had launched the girder for the north carriageway in October.
Sumit Thakur, chief PRO, WR, said, “We will undertake the blocks during the night so that there is minimal impact on train services.”
