Bengaluru: Over 151 passengers aboard a New Delhi-bound GoAir flight (G8 7001), which departed from Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) at 1pm, were left stranded for more than four hours after the aircraft made an emergency landing at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur at 2.30pm due to a suspected technical glitch on its pressurisation system.
According to passengers, the crew members and airline staff did not give them the reason for the emergency landing and instead informed them that they would be accommodated on an alternative flight to New Delhi scheduled to depart from Nagpur airport at 9.10pm on Friday.
The aircraft is currently being inspected. Sources said a drop in cabin pressure led to the emergency landing.
