Budget carrier GoAir has announced an extension of its ticket credit scheme for passengers till 30 April 2021. The ticket credit scheme allows passengers who don’t show up for a flight to use the fare amount on any booking within a year. GoAir had last week said this ticket credit scheme was available for bookings done till 15 April only.
“Even if the customer does not show up between 19th March 2020 and 30th April 2020 (at the airport), GoAir will automatically protect the customer’s ticket and fare for travel on any future date until 30th April 2021,” GoAir said in a press statement.
“In light of the ongoing situation, you might for whatever reason not take your flight. Please don’t worry, GoAir will protect your PNR for a period of one year and you can contact GoAir at any time over the next one year to redeem your ticket on any GoAir flight on any date with no charges* being levied,” GoAir mentioned on its website.
