NEW DELHI: Air India has received application from 700 pilots to join the Maharaja amid the exodus from Go First.
The airline has been holding walk-in interviews across India over the past few months as it has drawn up massive expansion plans. While till a few months back IndiGo and Air India were scouring for pilots, they have a glut of applications.
Go First has close to 740 pilots on the Airbus A320 family of planes and they are trying to get jobs as lessors have lined up to repossess planes and the airline faces an uncertain future.
