Crisis-hit Go First on Monday asked the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to urgently pass an order on its insolvency plea, reported news agency Reuters. The crisis-struck airline asked NCLT to pass an order citing to lessors’ efforts to take back planes.
The airline’s lawyers told NCLT to urgently pass an order on its insolvency plea, saying Go First lessors had moved to repossess the planes even as bankruptcy proceedings were ongoing.
In its latest announcement on Friday, embattled Go First said that its flight operations will remain suspended till May 12, due to “operational reasons”. Earlier, the airline had suspended flights till May 9 and suspended bookings till May 15.
