MUMBAI: Come April, prepare to pay more for clean fuel Bharat Stage-VI (BS-VI).
As India leapfrogs to BS-VI, from BS-IV, refiners said there will be marginal increase in fuel retail prices that the customers may have to pay. Mint had reported this last July.
“There will definitely be a marginal increase in fuel retail prices from April 1,” said Indian Oil Corp Ltd’s chairman Sanjiv Singh in Mumbai today.
“But let me assure you, we will not be burdening the consumers with a steep hike,” Singh added.
