Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has given the green light for the implementation of various National Highways projects in Goa, with a total budget allocation of Rs. 766.42 crore.
Highlighting the specifics, Gadkari announced an allocation of Rs. 455.50 crore for the construction of a 4-lane flyover extending from MES College Junction to Bogmalo Junction, covering a total stretch of 3.35 kilometers along NH-566. Additionally, within the framework of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode under National Highways (Original), a 4-lane Vehicular Underpass (VUP) at Queeny Nagar Junction, spanning 1.22 kilometers, is slated for development.
