BENGALURU: Unscheduled and frequent power cuts lasting hours on end this week have left residents across Bengaluru fuming. They claim the outages are getting more frequent by the day.
Data available with Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (Bescom) show how more than 30 unscheduled power cuts were recorded across the city till 3pm Thursday, while over 50 power outages were recorded on Monday.
Residents from several areas said there were power cuts ranging from one to six hours on Thursday. Residents of Parangi Palya, Sector 1 HSR Layout said the disruption began at 6.30pm Wednesday and continued well into Thursday afternoon.
