MUMBAI: A freighter aircraft from Riyadh bound for Bangalore was diverted to Mumbai where it carried out an emergency landing following a technical problem on Sunday.
The Ethiopian Airlines flight ET690 from Riyadh to Bangalore was diverted to Mumbai due to hydraulic leak, said a Mumbai International Airport Ltd spokesperson. Fire tenders were on standby as the aircraft came in to land.
The aircraft landed safely and has been parked, the official added. The cargo flight had eight crew members.
