After nearly over 16 months of investigation, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on October 13, 2017 registered First Information Report (FIR) against five officers of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd (DFCCIL) and three firms supplying ballast material for the construction of the project in the western corridor.
