DHANBAD: Four persons are feared killed and over half a dozen injured when a wall caved in during illegal mining at West Modidih colliery of Bharat Coking Coal Ltd. (BCCL) under Tetulmari police station limits of the district on early Thursday morning. The site of incident is near the area that has been given to BS Outsourcing Mining by BCCL.
While the BCCL officials are silent on the issue and none from the nearby villages are confirming the incident, JMM legislator Mathura Prasad Mahto said during question hour in the Assembly, “At least four people died and many were injured during mining in an illegal mine in my area.
