NEW DELHI: Air India’s Delhi-London flight (AI 111) had to return to IGI Airport after an unruly passenger on board tried to open a door of the Boeing 787 an hour after take off on Monday. He then allegedly hit two air hostesses when they tried to pull him away from the door.
The Dreamliner took off at 6.35am with almost 240 people on board and returned at 9.42am.
Sources said the crew were forced to use restraining devices to ensure the passenger, Jaskirat Singh, remained seated till the Dreamliner landed in Delhi.
