Fares from buses to flights have increased due to Durga Puja. People are not getting seats even after paying more money. Tickets for flights coming to Ranchi from major cities of the country have crossed Rs 10,000. Talking about buses, seats are not available here even after paying extra money ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 100.
Not only the buses going to Bihar, seats are not available in the buses going to Chhattisgarh, Odisha. Talking about flights, passengers coming to Ranchi from metropolitan cities have to pay more than double the fare to reach Ranchi. The fare in direct, connected and multiple connected flights has gone up from Rs 20 thousand to Rs 60 thousand. The fare in Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai has gone above five thousand.
