Amid widespread flight cancellations and delays across the country due to the heavy fog in North India, the government has issued orders to airport authorities to take necessary measures. The Civil Aviation Minister has also cautioned passengers against unruly behavior towards airline staff, following an incident where an IndiGo pilot was assaulted, which was captured on video and went viral.
However, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the dense foggy conditions are expected to persist over North India for the next few days.
