CIL has a long term agreement with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) for supply of Bulk Loading Explosives to its subsidiaries for a period of five years. It was effective from 01.08.2008, which was extended for another five years till 31.07.2018.
CIL has also signed an MoU with IOCL for formation of a jv company for manufacturing of Bulk Explosives. The annual consumption of CIL is given in the table which is likely to rise further as it aims to double the production by 2019.
