NEW DELHI: Under the next electric vehicle policy, Delhi government will focus on building a robust charging infrastructure in a three-year action plan.
It envisages the deployment of 18,000 charging points by 2025, said transport minister Kailash Gahlot at the Delhi EV Policy 2.0 stakeholders’ consultation programme at India Habitat Centre on Wednesday.
The minister said that consumer awareness campaigns, including the upcoming Switch Delhi 2.0 campaign, would be conducted to educate people and encourage them to embrace electric mobility.
