Rincell Corporation, an advanced chemistry battery cell start-up has raised $1.2 million (Rs 10 crore) seed round investment in an oversubscribed round led by US-based NextGen Battery Chem Ventures, managed by Sandiip Bhammer.
Founded in 2023 by Jignesh Parikh (CEO) and Dr. Jagjit Nanda (Chief Scientific Office) Rincell claims to have already started shipping samples of its 18650 and 21700 Silicon-Graphite batteries to customers including Inventus Power, the largest independent battery pack manufacturer in North America.
The company’s founded Jignesh Parikh was the former CEO at American Lithium Energy and has held executive leadership roles at Hitachi, Intel, and Western Digital.
