India’s youngest airline Akasa has increased its pilot strength by 30% to 450 since April this year and aims to double it to 900 by FY25, its CEO said Thursday, even as the airline engages in a legal fight with some of its pilots who left it without serving the mandatory notice period.
“We have many more pilots joining us than leaving,” Vinay Dube, told ET.
