Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to Jammu, laid the foundation stone of multiple road projects on Tuesday (February 20). As per the statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), PM Modi also inaugurated, dedicated to the nation and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over Rs 32,000 crore in railway, aviation, road and other sectors on his Jammu visit.
Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway
PM laid the foundation stone of two packages covering 44.22 kilometers of the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, connecting Jammu to Katra. Once completed, this expressway will not only facilitate pilgrims’ journeys to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine but also help in economic growth in the region.
