MUMBAI: The engine of a Vistara A321 Neo aircraft operating a flight from Singapore to Mumbai on Wednesday suffered a technical problem soon after take off which forced it to turn back. The flight returned and landed safely in Singapore an hour after take off.
Vistara flight UK106 departed around 11 am local time and had climbed to about 15,000 feet when the flight was diverted.
The right engine of A321 aircraft (VT-TVA) showed a high exhaust gas temperature indication, said a Directorate General of Civil Aviation official.
