Energy Savings Certificates (ESCerts), introduced in 2013 by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), have received Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC)’s nod for being traded on a separate market platform. CERC has notified rules of trading on power exchanges.
