An elevated road is being constructed on the Golden Rekha river in Gwalior to improve the city’s traffic system and ease the way in future. In the second phase, the elevated road from Laxmibai Samadhi to Girwai Chowki will now be made wider than before. The width of this proposed 7.42-kilometer-long road will now be increased from 16 meters to 19.5 meters.
It is worth mentioning that on April 7, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had promised the party workers during a gratitude meeting organized by the BJP workers of South Legislative Assembly that if necessary, the government will expand the elevated road.
