BENGALURU: Several citizens, including members of Bengaluru Bus Prayanikara Vedike and Citizens for Bengaluru, took up a field study to ascertain the social impact of the controversial elevated corridor in the city. They took it upon themselves the task of documenting the “damages” the corridor may cause as the project implementing agency KRDCL did not prepare a social impact assessment study.
On Tuesday, the team covered the stretch between Shantinagar and Bannerghatta Road. They plan to study the remaining stretches of the 90-km project in phases.
