Some officials from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) said on Thursday that the Dwarka Expressway’s Gurugram portion is likely to be opened in the first week of March, The Indian Express reported. They added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may inaugurate it.
As per sources, the finishing touches of the portion are underway and it will be opened soon.
Inauguration in February?
Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav has said that the inauguration could take place by the end of February as well or in the beginning of March. He added that they had written to the NHAI, urging them to open the Haryana stretch of the expressway.
