On Friday, domestic airline SpiceJet informed that one of its planes which was seized and grounded in Dubai due to litigation has now been released following an order of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Court. The incident happened in late October this year.
SpiceJet said in a statement that on December 7, in a DIFC Court hearing, the Order was discharged in favour of the company.
In addition to that, the Judge has directed an inquiry into losses suffered by the airline company as a consequence of the Order having been made. Further, the Court has ordered to pay towards the legal costs incurred by SpiceJet, the airline claimed in a statement.
