In the domestic network, addition of frequencies by domestic airlines including IndiGo and Vistara has resulted in passenger growth. The portal has analysed fares on various routes during April-June period now and same period last year.

“Domestic market continues to grow at a very healthy rate and attractive sales by airlines have further energized travel to domestic and foreign destinations like Dubai, Colombo, Kathmandu, New York, London, Singapore, Bangkok.

With a heavy advance purchase for the summer vacation period and the upcoming high travel season, we expect the overall numbers to maintain the robust growth.” Diwakar Pareek, vice-president (online revenue), MakeMyTrip, said in a statement.
