Amid ongoing tussle with the Delhi Airport Metro Express Pvt Ltd (DAMEPL) over payment, Delhi Metro has written to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) Centre and Delhi Government to seek clarity on providing the Sovereign Guarantee or Subordinate debt to liquidate its liability in favour of DAMEPL against the arbitration award. In a letter dated March 28, the Delhi Metro has said that Delhi High court in its order on 17 March has directed the Centre and Delhi Government to attend to the requests of Delhi Metro, within a period of two weeks from the date of the order, for extension of sovereign guarantee/subordinate debt,
