In a bid to provide safety and security to the people of national Capital especially those living and traveling daily to West Delhi area, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has constructed a 185-metre long subway to facilitate the pedestrian movement between Sitapuri and the Dabri Mor and Janakpuri C2 Block areas.
The subway was thrown open to the public on Tuesday by Mangu Singh the Managing Director of DMRC. The inaugural event was also witnessed by the senior officials of the corporation.
The 185 metres long pedestrian subway will provide direct connection to Dabri Mor – Janakpuri South Metro station. As per the officials, the subway built at a depth of nine metres from the surface will also allow those pedestrians to cross the road who do not intend to use the Metro.
