NEW DELHI: India’s most beautiful airport – Pakyong in Sikkim – will soon be a direct flight away from Delhi. SpiceJet will start a daily Delhi-Pakyong direct from January 23.
SpiceJet was the only airline that used to fly there with a daily Kolkata-Pakyong-Kolkata flight after the airport opened in September 2018. It had stopped this flight in June 2019.
“Pakyong airport is the only operational civil airport handling commercial flights in and SpiceJet will be the first and only airline to offer daily direct air connectivity between Delhi and Sikkim. The airline will deploy a Bombardier Q400 aircraft on Delhi-Pakyong-Delhi route,” SpiceJet said.
