The government has set into motion the process for preparation of Detailed Project Report for the proposed Mughal Road Tunnel that would make it an all-weather route.
The National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDC), entrusted with the job, has engaged Rodic Consultants Private Limited in a joint venture with Getnisa-Euro Studios for preparation of the DPR.
“They are on the job since August 2019 and it is going to take some time,” Deputy General Manager NHIDC, Rambachan Shivali, told Greater Kashmir.
Another official said that at first the consultancy would prepare the preliminary report that would estimate the approximate cost of the project.
