MUMBAI: Air India has received approval from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for engineering line maintenance of A350 and A320 aircraft, the airline said on Friday.
Air India’s first A350 is expected to be delivered by the month end and five more are set to join its fleet soon. The DGCA approval is a major step forward in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the A350, the airline said adding that its engineers have also received the DGCA certification for attending to any work related to the maintenance of A350 aircraft.
