NEW DELHI: The free bus services being provided by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for those visiting the newly inaugurated Kartavya Path is unlikely to be extended beyond a week, thanks to the smooth movement of visitors, and also with many preferring public transport to reach the area, according to sources.
While the Kartavya Path was inaugurated on Thursday, DMRC started its bus services for visitors from Friday. As the primarily park-and-ride facility was planned for a week to begin with and is a temporary arrangement, DMRC is not charging any fare from the users.
Visitors can board the buses from four pickup points, at Bhairon Marg, Raj Ghat, Connaught Place (near Palika parking), and the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
