The Delhi Metro recorded highest-ever count of daily ridership at 71.09 lakh on February 13 following huge traffic jams in the NCR amid tight security in view of a farmers’ march to the national capital.
India’s largest metro network mentioned in a X post on Wednesday that it has surpassed its previous milestone accomplished last September.
Notably, the count of daily passenger journeys in Delhi Metro stood at 71.03 lakh on September 4 and 69.94 lakh on August 29 in 2023 around Raksha Bandhan festival.
