Delhi Metro and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya collaborate to bolster transportation research; Key focus on metro rail tech
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Vadodara-based transport university Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) have joined hands to undertake research in the area of transportation and logistics, with a special focus on metro rail technology, officials said on Thursday.
“This historic MoU marks a significant leap towards fostering collaboration, enriching academic endeavours, and establishing a lasting partnership between these two premier institutions,” the DMRC mentioned in a statement.
Focus on transportation R&D
Both the DMRC and the GSV will organise studies and research in the area of transportation and logistics, more particularly related to metro rail technology, promoting research, education, and training.
