Significant progress has been achieved by the NCR (National Capital Region) transport corporation in constructing tunnels for the Delhi-Meerut RapidX corridor.
As per a TOI report, out of the expansive 82 km route connecting Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan to Meerut, a mere 14 km is concealed underground, designated for the installation of tracks and the establishment of stations. These 14 km, stretching across Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut, constitute pivotal portions of this ambitious corridor.
