CHENNAI: A New Delhi-bound Air India flight encountered a delay attributed to a “last-minute technical issue” at Chennai airport on Saturday evening.
However, the airline promptly organized alternative arrangements to cater to the waiting passengers, according to an official statement.
The aircraft was temporarily grounded to undergo thorough engineering assessments, aligning with the airline’s unwavering commitment to prioritize passenger and crew safety, an Air India official said.
