Residents of Molichakk, Band Vihar and Saliana Patti areas of Palampur subdivision lodged a protest against the poor condition of the main road to their villages.
Villagers threatened to intensify the stir if the authorities failed to repair the road, which is full of potholes and no bitumen is seen anywhere.
They alleged that despite having enough budget allocation for the road, the Public Works Department had not started the re-carpeting work so far.
