The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today convened a meeting of PDD authorities to review overall power scenario and the status of ongoing development works carried out by the department under different schemes in the district.
On the occasion, the DDC inquired about the availability, demand and position of power supply in the district and also took a comprehensive review of the work on other vital projects spearheaded by the PDD under various schemes including RAPDRP, IPDS, PMDP, DDUGJY, etc.
The DDC directed the concerned to ensure completion of works meant for augmenting power supply in the district within the given time including upgradation works of receiving stations within the district.
