Deputy Commissioner of Hazaribag Nancy Sahay today visited the NTPCproject and also mining areas of the project in Badkagaon Hazaribag area. During the visits the DC took stock of progress of under-construction work. She had a long meeting with the officers of the NTPC.
The DC directed the officers of NTPC to provide maximum jobs to the local males and females. With the help of jobs, the economic conditions of the villagers will improve.
The DC gave more emphasis on the community development services in the affected areas. The company should provide study materials to the primary students and also drinking facilities to the schools of the villages.
