NEW DELHI: Aviation regulator DGCA will issue revised advisories to airlines “as and when necessary” in view of the cyclone ‘Fani’, said civil aviation minister Suresh Prabhu on Friday.
Prabhu also said that he has directed Pradeep Singh Kharola, secretary, ministry of civil aviation, to “continuously monitor the situation”.
Cyclone ‘Fani’ rolled through Odisha on Friday, packing rain and windstorm that gusted up to 175 kmph, leaving at least three people dead, blowing away thatched houses, and swamping towns and villages.
